The 20 Swiss parks are model regions for sustainable development in which ecological, social and economic interests are given equal weight. Swiss parks have clear goals and tasks. They preserve and maintain valuable cultural and natural landscapes. In addition, they sensitise locals and visitors to the ecological, cultural, historical and economic characteristics of the region and support them. They strengthen the sustainable regional economy and promote education for sustainable development. Non-motorised transport, including cycling and e-biking, is an important issue for Swiss parks, as mobility is a key element of sustainability in tourism and leisure.
The Swiss parks are always worth a visit. Discover the 20 unique park regions with many interesting events and exciting activities.
Our tips:
Cycle through the parks of the Jura Arc on "La Route Verte" or puzzle your way from one regional delicacy to the next at a "Savurando" in the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch and in the Jurapark Aargau.

The Swiss Parks Network is the national umbrella organisation for all parks and park projects in Switzerland. As an umbrella organisation, the network promotes the exchange of experience among its members, represents their interests and helps them to establish and operate the parks and ensure their quality in the long term. The Swiss Parks Network supports the parks in the further development of soft mobility in their region and works together with Rent a Bike to promote non-motorised transport.
